Rhea Chakraborty in her first-ever interview with India Today, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, had divulged details about their 2019 Europe trip. Spilling the beans Rhea had revealed that SSR had confessed to her that after 2013’s depressive episode, he had been to a psychiatrist called Harish Shetty. This evening, SSR’s family lawyer Vikas Singh held a press conference to clear the air and shed some light on the facts they clearly mentioned in their FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and 5 others.
While addressing the media, Vikas Singh even spoke about SSR’s 2013’s depressive episode and seeing psychiatrist Harish Shetty. Commenting on the same, he said, “Some random incidents may happen with him. So he got disturbed at that time. But, it was not something big. So, he recovered also at that time. It was normal and happens with most people. But, some are running camping that he had mental health problems since 2013, it is not true. He had a temporary problem in 2013.”
Speaking to India Today, Rhea said Sushant used to feel Claustrophobic while sitting in the flight following which he popped a pill before their Paris flight. Narrating one of the incidents, Rhea revealed that SSR confessed to her that he was seeing a psychiatrist after a depressive episode in 2013.
She told India Today, "In Switzerland, he was fine. When we reached Italy, we stayed at a Gothic hotel, which we didn't know at the time of booking. In our room, there was a dome-like structure, which I didn't like. I asked him that we should change our hotel, but he insisted on staying there. He told me that there was something. His health deteriorated there and he started having anxiety attacks. Then he told me that in 2013, he had a depressive episode and he told me that he met a psychiatrist called Haresh Shetty.” (ALSO READ: Sushant Singh Rajput's Family Lawyer Informs That Any Film, Book Or Show Related To Late Actor Made Without Consent Of Father Will Face Legal Action)
